Women's Folk Group
The Women's Folk Group is an energetic group of
women who enjoy singing, playing, and praising
God together through song. The Women's Folk
Group is generally scheduled for two masses each
month, and for other events and celebrations as
needed. Practices are held the Thursday before the
scheduled weekend, and are typically held in the
worship area at 7:30 PM. We also meet
approximately thirty minutes before our scheduled
mass time to do a quick review and warm up.
Occasionally we gather at one of our homes to
rehearse; this allows us to spend some time
together over a cup of tea afterward. While we
attempt to use technique to help us sound our best,
our emphasis is on the spiritual connection to sung
prayer. We currently are a group of five; all are
vocalists and two are guitarists. Please contact

expand our group; if you take great joy in singing
and/or playing an instrument, you are more than
welcome to join us.
